Out of Hours Arrangements
We provide a 24-hour emergency service for registered clients.
If you should be concerned about your pet outside of normal clinic hours and believe this cannot wait until we are open. Please call either of the following numbers

Both of these numbers will take you to our call handling service or connect you to our partner practice that provides cover. They will collect your details and provide appropriate instructions.
The clinic is not staffed 24 hours, so please do not turn up before calling.
Starting February 15th 2025. Some additional arrangements come into force. This does not change the information above. Between 7pm and 8am. EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR, our out-of-hours provider for the companion animal clinic is 'Somerset Veterinary Emergency Clinic' (SVEC). They are based at Quantock Veterinary Hospital in Bridgwater. TA6 4BA. We suggest you contact them on the numbers outlined above. In the event this is problematic; their direct number is 01278 450 080.
At all other times; these being 8am - 7pm, EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR, the out-of-hours is provided by your usual vets at the Minehead or Williton practice.

Please note - These fees do not include any further investigations or treatments that may be needed. Non-registered clients will be seen at our discretion and may be charged an additional fee.
